My friend found his wife over the Internet. He lived in Ханты-Мансийск, she lived in Samara. Now they are married 4 years and have two children.

I don't know anyone personally who was lucky in finding their beloved ones in the Internet. But also heard a few stories from my friends about people got married and now live happily.
I just wonder why more and more people are looking for new friends and partners in the Internet. Are there few people around us to make friends or develop romantic relationship?

I believe that it is a very good idea to make friends or to find your half in the Internet. The main reason is that you can easily find a person with the same interests, hobby or even point of view. You can find a man/woman/couple with any description you are interested in. If the questionnaire in the Internet is filled in quiet honestly, it is easier to find the definite relations, which one you need at the present time (friendship, love, communication or just sex).
As for me, I don’t like to communicate for a long time by the means of web. I prefer just getting acquainted with people in the Internet and then meeting them in real life.

Well, I think dating in the Net is not the best way for those who seek serious relationship. Most of chat on meeting sites is just flirt, you know.
